The DNV rules are used as a supplement to the dutch national codes for offshore only for offshore projects frequently certifications of both Stoomwezen and Det Norske Veritas are required by clients these certifications are issued by DNVC or DNV-certification the certification body to ISO-9000 and ISO-14001.
